Wade Starr, Executive Director

wade starr HACCGAWade Starr, Jr. PHM, brings over thirty years of small business ownership and executive level managerial experience in corporate, education, state and county government settings to his current position. Prior to accepting the position of Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Clayton County, he served as County Manager of Clayton County, where he had direct or indirect responsibility for approximately two thousand employees and budgets totaling over $300,000.  A native of Clayton County, Wade is a committed community servant whose has a demonstrated record of successfully managing programs and projects in both the public and private sector.  Some of the agencies with whom Wade has worked include:

Wade was awarded the MSW (Master of Social Work) with emphasis in policy planning and administration from Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia.  He earned Bachelor of Science in Education from Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley, Georgia
